ABOUT CLEO
Bringing clarity and care
to life's hardest moments
Cleo is a licensed cremation service in Quebec and Ontario. We take the arrangements and paperwork off your hands, so you're taken care of and can move forward.
OUR STORY
Why Bram Paperman started Cleo
Cleo was founded by Bram Paperman, whose family brings a century of expertise in end-of-life care. He kept meeting grieving families handed a quote in the thousands and a list of add-ons nobody asked for. Our mission is the opposite: lift that burden off them.
The price is fixed and all-inclusive: transportation, cremation, death certificates, and a basic urn. Arrangements happen from your kitchen table, by phone or online, with no visit to a funeral home. And whenever you call, a real person picks up, in English or French.
We work with families across Quebec and Ontario, and stay long after the ashes come home, closing out paperwork and filing CPP and QPP death benefits. Grief doesn't run on a schedule. No family should face a death confused, pressured, or alone.
OUR TEAM
The people behind Cleo
Licensed professionals who guide you without pressure, and stay on months after the ashes come home.
OUR VALUES
What sets Cleo apart
These principles guide everything we do, from how we support families to how we approach our work.
You're in control
You make the decisions. We lay out what's available, explain what each choice actually involves, and then give you room to think.
No surprises
One fixed, all-inclusive price: transportation, cremation, certificates, and a basic urn. No hidden fees. The final bill matches your day-one quote.
Always a real human
Call at 2 p.m. or 3 a.m. and a real person answers, in English or French. Not a bot, not voicemail. Behind them, a century of family expertise.
Radically simple
One call, one price, no unnecessary steps. Arrange everything by phone or online, and transportation is arranged within 4 hours of that call.
Dignity for every family
Every family gets the same care, whatever their budget, faith, or circumstances. Nobody is treated differently because of what they can spend.
We stick around
We stay on for months after the ashes come home: closing out paperwork, filing CPP and QPP death benefits, chasing loose ends.
Not sure where to start? We'll walk you through it.
We understand this can be a difficult and confusing time. A real person will walk you through each step, tell you what you don't need, and put every cost in writing before anything proceeds.
